A dramatic advert is an advert which tells a story that keeps viewers on edge and keeps them watching to see what happens next. These adverts keep the audience's attention for the entire advert and makes them think deeper about the product being advertised, they are also usually quite long so that it gives the viewer more time to realise what's being advertised and think about it. The Lynx Attract advert is a good example, for the majority of the advert it's a police woman chasing a burglar, the audience think she is eventually going to catch him and then something is going to happen so they continue to watch, then the advert takes a twist ending because the audience have been fixed on it.
