A humorous advert is one that has a funny theme to it, where something funny happens to make the advert memorable and advertise the product better. When people see the advertised product in a shop they may remember the advert because of one specific thing and it might incline them to buy the product. The Strongbow advert is a good example of a humorous advert, two men have to carry a sofa up loads of flights of stairs because the lift is out, then afterwards they go to the pub and start enjoying a pint of strongbow but then they receive a phone call saying it's the wrong sofa. It caps off the advert with a funny moment at the end which becomes memorable by viewers.
